Relay For Life is looking for volunteers to help with gates and welcome Thursday, May 3, through Sunday, May 5. Volunteers are also needed for Logistics Team setup/cleanup Wednesday, May 1, through Sunday, May 5. Mayor's Freeway Cleanup needs volunteers to assist with de-littering the freeway off/on ramps. Vests, helmets and trash bags are provided. Volunteers will meet at 8:45 a.m. The next freeway cleanup will take place Saturday, April 6. Meet at the Park & Ride lot on Stockdale Highway, west of Oak Street. Travel by bus/van to the various cleanup locations and return by 11 a.m. Mark your calendars April 6 and 20 and May 4 and 18. For future cleanups and additional information, call 326-3770. If there's adverse weather (active rain or fog), cleanup will be cancelled.
