Art, film, food and music. That is the core theme behind the four-day COLOURS: A Celebration of the Arts in Shafter event.

Tuesday on "First Look with Scott Cox," Amy Adams, Kim Kotrla and Larry Starrh, with COLOURS, talked about the "Always Patsy Cline" dramatic theater production happening at Shafter's own Ford Theater.

"I sing 30 songs and you can see the show four times," Adams said. She will be playing the role of Patsy Cline.

The production is based on the true story of Patsy Cline's friendship with Houston housewife, Louise Seger, played by Kotrla.

Opening night of the play is at 7:15 p.m., Feb 20 at 1100 E. Lerdo Hwy. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students.
