Kern County to offer free drive-in flu shots

By The Bakersfield Californian

The Bakersfield Californian

Kern County is giving away free flu vaccinations on Nov. 4. You don't even have to get out of your car to get one.

The Kern County Department of Public Health will be dosing people with real flu vaccines while it practices for an emergency disease outbreak or chemical catastrophe.

County health employees get training. You get a shot.

This disaster training session and free vaccination clinic will begin at 9 a.m. on Nov. 4 at the Palm Street overpass near Oak Street.
