Kern County Library is seeking volunteers to serve as Oral History transcribers to transcribe videotaped interviews of persons sharing their memories of Oildale as part of the 100th anniversary of the founding of that community. These transcripts will be a permanent record for use by researchers. Other volunteer opportunities are available at all Kern County Library branches.
