For both young and old, there's a place for friendship, fun and even some community service on Valentine's Day.

High school students shared lunch together. Residents from Rosewood Senior Living Community broke out into a Valentine flash mob performance at The Marketplace. And several organizations asked downtown businesses to love the community by encouraging employees to spend an hour picking up trash.

Californian photographer Casey Christie shares these images from the day.
