It's your dream wedding. A day you will remember forever. A day filled will happiness. But suddenly something unexpected happens and you must halt your plans. Now what?

The Fairy Godmother -- a local wedding and event company -- wants to come to your rescue.

Wednesday on "First Look with Scott Cox," Fairy Godmother creator and wedding coordinator Colleen Bauer talked about the ultimate dream wedding that one lucky couple will win.

Bauer is taking nominations for couples who for some reason or another -- either health problems or other hardships -- had to postpone their wedding.

Jim Luff, owner of The Limousine Scene, said Bauer asked him to be a part of the new Fairy Godmother nonprofit foundation, which will continue to give dream weddings to those in need.

"We want to find a deserving couple and give someone that Fairy Godmother wedding," Luff said.

All the vendors for the giveaway wedding are set; only the couple is missing. The wedding will be in spring 2015 but planning will start this spring.

Couples must be nominated by friends or family, Bauer said. They ask that nominations be sent as soon as possible so the selected bride and groom have enough time to work with Bauer on the wedding theme, and of course pick the cake flavor.

"Weddings can get very expensive," Bauer said. "We just want to put together an amazing wedding."
