Richard Beene restores vintage cast iron skillets.
"Its a hobby but it's also my passion," The Californian's president and CEO said Tuesday on "First Look with Scott Cox."
Beene shared the story behind his passion and talked about the quality of food you produce when cooking with an iron skillet. You can't go wrong with a good piece of steak, butter and garlic cooked in a skillet, he said.
Each cast iron piece Beene collects is personally restored by him. When someone purchases a skillet, they get a personalized history note about where the skillet came from.
