Wind, solar and sewer water occupy supervisors

By The Bakersfield Californian

A spate of wind and solar projects -- including the large Catalina Renewable Energy project -- is expected to fill up hours of time during this afternoon's Board of Supervisors meeting.

The Catalina project is pretty remote, in the desert miles to the southwest of Mojave and northwest of Rosamond, but some opposition is likely as these projects have gotten more heated.

Supervisors will also talk about the Lamont Public Utilities District effluent and the future of Community Recycling.
