FBI searching several Bakersfield locations
By BREAKING NEWS BLOG
FBI agents searched several locations in Bakersfield Tuesday, but exact details of what the operation was about remain unclear.
FBI spokeswoman Gina Swankie said the search warrant filed in the case was sealed and she couldn't provide many details other than that multiple locations were being searched, including Valley Medical Group at 5401 White Lane. She couldn't elaborate as to what agents were searching for, and said that as far as she knew no arrests had been made.
"There's not a lot to offer," Swankie said. "I'm allowed to confirm the warrant and that's about it."
The searches, which began about 9 a.m. were expected to be completed Tuesday, she said.
