Suspect wanted for armed robbery

Bakersfield police are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect wanted for armed robbery.
At 6:16 p.m. Feb. 19, the suspect entered the Maria's Collections Store at 17 H St. and brandished a gun. He demanded cash, a store employee complied and he then ran from the business.
The suspect is described as Hispanic, in his 20s to 30s, 5 feet 9 inches tall, with a medium to heavy build, 225 pounds, with a thin mustache and a tattoo on the front of his neck. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black gloves, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect is asked to call the Bakersfield Police Department at 327-7111 or Detective David Cox at 326-3514.
