Traffic stop turns up suspected methamphetamine


At 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, deputies stopped a vehicle on eastbound Highway 58 east of Highway 99.

Deputies contacted the driver, Carlos Franco, 32, who was on active post-release community supervision. A search of the vehicle turned up suspected methamphetamine.

Franco was arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs, transportation of drugs, driving with a suspended driver's license and for violating the terms and conditions of his release.
