Suspect wanted for hit and run

Bakersfield police are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect and suspect vehicle wanted for hit and run.
At 5:39 p.m. Feb. 9, the suspect arrived at the Shell gas station at 4050 Gosford Road. As the suspect was leaving the area near the gas pumps, he sideswiped the victim's vehicle, causing minor damage to both vehicles' passenger sides.
The suspect then left the scene.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his 30s with a medium build.
The suspect vehicle is described as a 2005-10 Toyota Yaris or similar vehicle with a Texas license plate.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect is asked to call the Bakersfield Police Department at 327-7111 or Senior Officer Jeff Paglia at 326-3960.
