Shooting death under investigation

A Bakersfield man who was shot in the 900 block of Kentucky Street Saturday morning later died at Kern Medical Center, Bakersfield Police and the coroner's office reported.
The man, identified as Edward Lee Daniel Moreno, 24, was shot at 2:42 a.m., a coroner's office news release said.
Bakersfield Police said it's not known if the shooting was gang related and the investigation is ongoing.
The department urged anyone with information about what happened to call them at 327-7111 or Detective Sean Morphis at 326-3871.
