Bakersfield police are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect wanted for armed robbery.
At 9:58 a.m. Jan. 29, officers responded to the Radio Shack at 5041 Gosford Road. Officers learned the suspect had entered the store and brandished a gun and, when employees and patrons did not meet his demands, he left the business and ran eastbound across Gosford Road.
The suspect is described as black, in his late teens to early 20s, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a thin build, clean shaven face and a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a red baseball hat (possibly a Washington Nationals hat), black hooded "Everlast" sweatshirt and dark pants.
