Suspect wanted for sexual battery

Bakersfield police are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect wanted for sexual battery.
At 11 a.m. Aug. 28, the victim was in the parking lot at the Kern Medical Center Department of Pharmacy at 1830 Flower St. when she was greeted by the suspect, who was standing near her vehicle. The victim put her purse in the vehicle and the suspect approached the victim and started to hug and kiss her.
The victim resisted, but the suspect touched the victim inappropriately. The victim was able to escape and run from the area.
The suspect is described as Hispanic, in his late 40s to early 50s, 5 feet to 5 feet 5 inches tall, 125 pounds, with short, dark hair, a gray trimmed mustache and wearing a plaid short- sleeved shirt.
