Woman steals from Chase, makes bomb threat

At about 4:35 p.m. Monday, a female subject entered Chase Bank, located at 2050 White Lane, and handed a bank teller a note demanding money.

While in contact with the teller, the suspect threatened there was a bomb in the lobby.

The suspect fled the business with an undisclosed amount of currency. Bakersfield Police officers conducted a search of the business, but did not locate an explosive device.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian female, 20 to 30 years old, with long dirty blonde hair and wearing large sunglasses. She was last seen wearing a dark long sleeved shirt, light colored pants and dark shoes.
