Mobile home destroyed in blaze

Kern County firefighters responded to a structure fire Thursday morning in which an abandoned double-wide mobile home was half-involved in flames.
Crews extinguished the fire and kept it from spreading to an adjacent wrecking yard. The blaze happened in the 7000 block of South Union Avenue.
