Police looking for Kohl's thief

Bakersfield Police are trying to identify a woman who is suspect of stealing from a Kohl's department store in October, according to a Bakersfield Police Department news release.

At about 12:45 p.m. Oct. 9, the woman went to the Kohl's at 9400 Rosedale Highway. She chose some items, hid them and left without paying, according to the news release. She left in a silver, four-door Toyota Camry.

The suspect is described as Causasian, in her 30s, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 200 pounds with purple hair. At the time, she was wearing a purple shirt and purple capris.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Bakersfield Police Deparment at 327-7111 or Detective John Blunt at 326-3964.
