By BREAKING NEWS BLOG

Two adults and one child were found after being lost in the mountains near Highway 155 and Jameson Ranch on Sunday.

Jose Ramirez, 36, Miguel Valenzuela, 41 and a boy, 10, were playing in the snow with family members when the child separated from the group and both Ramirez and Valenzuela left the group to search for the child, according to a sheriff's news release.

The adults became lost after losing contact with their family group and weren't able to use thier cell phone due to the terrain.

Volunteers from the Kern Valley, Techachapi, Glenville and Bakersfield Search and Rescue teams responded to the call and deputies from the Sheriff's Office Air Support Unit went to the area with a helicopter to help the ground unit search, the news release stated.

The helicopter crew found the child and Valenzuela while ground units found Ramirez. Nobody needed medical aid and they were reunited with thier families.
