By The Bakersfield Californian

Four women were arrested on Saturday after they allegedly fired a single bullet into a home on Quincy Street in east Bakersfield.

Witnesses to the shooting, which took place at 10 a.m. on Saturday in the 1700 block of Quincy St., gave Kern County Sheriff's Office deputies a detailed description of the blue sedan and the people in that vehicle.

Deputies located a vehicle matching the description in the 1200 block of Flower Street, stopped the vehicle and took the four women inside into custody.

A search of the vehicle, Sheriff's Office reports stated, turned up a .38 caliber handgun in the glove compartment, with a single expended shell.

Deputies arrested Markisha Williams, 27, on charges of firing into an inhabited dwelling and felon in possession of a firearm. Laboria Weldon, 33, Kaneisha Harling, 18, and Jasmyn Denwitty, 24, were all arrested on charges of conspiracy.
