Suspect in Wells Fargo Bank robbery at large

    The Kern County Sheriff's Office is asking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for bank robbery. On Jan. 29 at about 4 p.m. the suspect shown entered the Wells Fargo Bank at 1309 N. Chester Ave. in Oildale and approached a bank teller. The suspect demanded money and fled the bank on foot. Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 661-861-3110 or Secret Witness at 661-322-4040.

The Kern County Sheriff's Department is asking the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted for bank robbery.

About 4 p.m. Tuesday, a suspect entered the Wells Fargo Bank at 1309 N. Chester Ave. in Oildale and approached a bank teller. The suspect demanded money and left the bank.

The suspect is described as white, 45-60 years old, between 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, medium build, gray hair and beard, wearing glasses, a gray beanie, black sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Kern County Sheriff's Department at 861-3110 or Secret Witness at 322-4040. Anonymous text tips can be sent to TIP411 (847411); just type the keyword "KCSO" prior to the message.
