Suspects wanted for assault with a gun

Bakersfield police are asking for the public's help identifying suspects wanted for assault with a gun.
At 2:56 a.m. Jan. 5, Bakersfield police responded to the 1500 block of East 10th Street for a report of shots fired. Two vehicles traveling westbound on East 10th Street stopped in the roadway and the occupants of the two vehicles began firing several shots at people on the street. The suspect vehicles then sped westbound on East 10th Street.
The first suspect vehicle is described as a newer model dark-colored SUV with 22-inch wheels similar to a Chevrolet Tahoe. The second suspect vehicle is described as a gray or white 4-door sedan.
Anyone with information regarding this case or the identity of the suspects is asked to call the Bakersfield Police Department at 327-7111 or Detective Marcela Garcia at 326- 3552.
