Five arrested in connection with selling meth

Kern County sheriff's detectives developed information that five Bakersfield residents, identified as Alejandro Hernandez, 33, Jorge Roman, 25, Louis Jacobo, 21, Alejandro Jacobo, 25, and Armando Anaya, 22, acted together to possess and sell over five pounds of methamphetamine.
Roman, Hernandez, and Anaya were taken into custody without incident in a business parking lot in the 5400 block of Rosedale Highway. Louis and Alejandro Jacobo and a third unidentified subject drove away in a vehicle containing the suspected methamphetamine as officers tried to stop them.
They threw most of the meth out the of the window and detectives were able to recover large amounts of the drugs off of the roadway in the 4400 block of Rosedale Highway. The suspects were located in the Town and Country Shopping Center in the 8200 block of Stockdale Highway, where they abandoned their vehicle and tried to blend in with shoppers.
Several people called sheriff's department dispatchers and said Alejandro Jacobo had entered the Trader Joe's store. He was arrested inside the store and Louis Jacobo was arrested after leaving the Albertson's in the center.
The third, unidentified suspect was able to escape.
