Male-female pair arrested on charges of burglarizing a Bakersfield school

At 6:56 a.m. Saturday, Kern County sheriff's deputies were dispatched to a report of trespass at Munsey Elementary School in southwest Bakersfield, the sheriff's department said in a news release Saturday.
Once at the school, deputies took into custody a man and a woman who had earlier been detained by private security.
The two were identified as Limmie Johnson, 31, and Christina Youngblood, 28.
The private security guards told deputies that an alarm had been activated in one of the classrooms and they had responded.
Johnson was found inside the classroom removing computer equipment and Youngblood was found outside, near the classroom, authorities said.
According to the sherriff's release, both Johnson and Youngblood were found to be in possession of items that had been removed from the classroom. The property, valued at $2,470, was recovered and returned to the school, the release said.
Both suspects were arrested on charges of burglary and conspiracy. Their bail was set at $20,000 each. According to the release, Youngblood also faces charges related to an outstanding misdemeanor no-bail warrant for forgery.
