Keeler man dies in crash with big-rig

A man from Keeler died Saturday after colliding head-on with a big-rig on Highway 14.

At about 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Ron Roy Ernst Densmore, 77, was driving a Chevrolet Tracker on the highway 6.6 miles north of Dove Springs Road in rural Inyokern, according to a Kern County Sheriff's coroner's office news release.

Densmore was wearing his seatbelt when he collided with the big-rig, according to the news release. He died at the scene from his injuries.
