Suspect wanted for using stolen access card

    The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the community’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for fraudulent use of access cards. The BPD described the man as 25 to 30 years old, 5’8” to 5”10” tall, 150 to 170 pounds., with brown curly hair and a full beard.

Bakersfield police are asking the public's help identifying a suspect wanted for fraudulent use of access cards.

At 8:17 p.m. Dec. 7, the suspect entered the Macy's at the Valley Plaza mall and used the victim's stolen credit card to purchase merchandise.

At 7:27 p.m. Feb. 19, the same suspect entered the Macy's mall and used a second victim's stolen credit card to purchase merchandise. After the suspect made the purchase, he used the victim's credit card to make an additional transaction for gift cards.

The suspect is described as white, 25-30 years old, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall, 150-170 pounds, with brown curly hair and a full beard.

Anyone with information regarding these incidents is asked to call the Bakersfield Police Department at 327-7111 or Detective Blaine Craig at 326-3541.
