Suspect wanted on suspicion of burglary

    The Bakersfield Police Department released this photo taken from video surveillance of a man they said burglarized a building in the 2200 block of Oak Street on Oct. 14.

Bakersfield police are asking for help finding a suspect who burglarized a building in the 2200 block of Oak Street, north of 21st Street and south of Highway 178.

The suspect broke into the building at 10:30 p.m. Oct. 14, police said.

He's described as white, in his 40s, with a shaved head and unshaven face. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, gray shorts, and white athletic shoes, and was carrying a backpack.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect's identity is asked to call Detective Todd Dickson at 326-3273.
