Juvenile awakes to stranger in her bedroom

    The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community's help identifying a suspect wanted for burglary and annoying a juvenile. Police said a girl awoke at 5 a.m. Jan. 27 to a light being turned on in her bedroom in the 2900 block of Crescent Ridge Street. She described the man as Hispanic, in his 20s, 5'6", 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

A juvenile awoke early Monday to a stranger in her bedroom.

Police said a light was turned on in the female juvenile's room at 5 a.m. in the 2900 block of Crescent Ridge Street in south Bakersfield. She told officers she saw a Hispanic man in his 20s, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 180 pounds, black hair, brown eyes, wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, jeans and a baseball cap.

The suspect is wanted on suspicion of burglary and annoying a juvenile.

Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call Detective John Rodrigues at 326-3870.
