Motorcyclist injured in crash

At 5:17 p.m. Sunday, Bakersfield police responded to Loyalton Avenue and Wible Road for a crash between a pickup truck and a motorcycle.

The pickup, driven by a 17-year-old male, had collided with a motorcycle driven by a man in his 50s.

The motorcycle rider was taken to a local hospital with injuries which did not appear life-threatening. No alcohol or drug impairment is suspected.
