Tehachapi motorcyclist suffers major injuries in crash

A 60-year-old Tehachapi resident suffered major injuries in a crash Saturday evening on Comanche Drive north of Breckenridge Road.
The man, whose full name was not released, was taken to Kern Medical Center, according to a California Highway Patrol news release.
The Tehachapi resident was driving a motorcycle southbound on Comanche Drive north of Breckenridge Road when a driver in a Lexus made a U-turn directly into the path of the motorcyclist, the news release said. The motorcycle crashed into the car.
An investigation is ongoing.
