Suspect wanted for check forgery

Bakersfield police are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect wanted for burglary, check forgery and identity theft.
Between May 18 and August 17, the suspect went to several local businesses and presented fictitious checks to purchase merchandise. The suspect used the victims' personal information to create the fictitious checks.
The suspect appears to be a Hispanic woman, 30-35 years old, 5 feet 5 inches tall, with long dark hair and tattoos on her left shoulder, right forearm, chest and back.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect is asked to call the Bakersfield Police Department at 327-7111 or Detective Todd Brown at 326-3861.
