Suspect stole purse from shopping cart

Bakersfield police are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect wanted for theft.
On June 30, the suspect was seen inside the Wal-Mart located at 8400 Rosedale Highway. The suspect left the store and was got into a newer-model, gray, GMC crew cab pickup truck with a primer spot on the left front fender.
While driving in the parking lot, the suspect reached out the window and stole a purse from a shopping cart.
Anyone with information related to the identity of the suspect is asked to call the Bakersfield Police Department at 327-7111 or Detective John Blunt at 326-3964.
