    Bakersfield police are asking the public's help in identifying a suspect and suspect vehicle wanted for hit and run. Bakersfield police are asking the public's help in identifying a suspect and suspect vehicle wanted for hit and run.

At 10:16 a.m. March 16, the suspect was driving the vehicle when he damaged a chain link fence in a crash in the 400 block of Chico Street. The suspect left the scene without notifying the property owner or law enforcement.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 20s or 30s, with short brown hair.

The suspect vehicle is described as a white single-cab, possibly a Chevrolet, heavy duty pickup truck with a flatbed.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect is asked to contact the Bakersfield Police Department at 327-7111 or Senior Officer Jeff Paglia at 326-3960.
