Teen driver safety classes to be held by CHP

The California Highway Patrol is offering two-hour safety education classes geared to teens and their parents at different locations in Kern County.
During the course, officers illustrate the critical responsibilities of safe driving and collision avoidance techniques. Parents are also reminded of their responsibility to teach their new driver and model good driving behavior.
The Mojave area of the CHP will be presenting this program 5:30 p.m. on April 3 at the Kerr McGee Center in Ridgecrest, and at 6 p.m. April 4 at the Stallion Spring Community Service District.
