An adult and two children were taken to hospitals Sunday after the driver of a car failed to safely negotiate a curve in a road, the Mojave office of the California Highway Patrol reported.
Inyokern resident Rebecca Vance was driving her 1999 Dodge north on Brown Road south of Wiknich Road at 9:15 p.m. Sunday, failed to negotiate a curve and overturned on the road's shoulder, a CHP news release said.
Vance and two children were using their seatbelts and a child safety seat. Vance was taken by helicopter to Antelope Valley Hospital. The children were taken to Ridgecrest Regional Hospital.
Alcohol or drugs don't appear to be a factor in the crash, the CHP said.
