Teen driver safety program to be held in Mojave, Tehachapi

Designed for newly licensed teen drivers and their parents, the CHP offers Start Smart, a two hour safety education class that is conducted throughout the state.
The free program is an interactive driver safety education class for teens and their parents. During the course, officers illustrate the critical responsibilities of safe driving and collision avoidance techniques.
The program will be presented at 5 p.m. Jan. 29 at the Mojave Airport Board Meeting Room and 6 p.m. Jan. 31 at the Stallion Spring Community Service District.
