Partygoer suffers major trauma to face

Sheriff's deputies are seeking information about an incident in Golden Hills that left a man with major trauma to his face.
Deputies responded to a peace disturbance at 10:31 p.m. Saturday at a residence in the 20400 block of Bell Court and found a large party, according to a Kern County Sheriff's Department news release.
They found Jose Lopez, 22, with facial injuries nearby; he was airlifted to Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster and is in guarded condition, the news release said.
