Person of interested wanted in connection with homicide

Kern County sheriff's detectives are once again asking the public's assistance in finding Lisa Marie Ramos, who is wanted for questioning in a homicide investigation.
On Nov. 23, the body of 21-year-old Joseph Vargas was found in the 1900 block of Quincy Street in east Bakersfield. Vargas had been shot in the head.
Ramos is a person of interest in the investigation. She also has a misdemeanor warrant.
Anyone has information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Kern County Sheriff's Department at 861-3110, Detective Andrew Avila at 391-7612 or Secret Witness at 322-4040. Anonymous text tips can be sent to TIP411 (847411); just type the keyword "KCSO" prior to the message.
