Victim of fatal crash identified

The victim of a fatal crash Sunday evening has been identified as 34-year-old Alejandro Hernandez-Saldana.
The Bakersfield resident allowed his vehicle to drift into oncoming traffic on 7th Standard Road, just east of Highway 43, and was hit by another vehicle, according to a coroner's office news release. Hernandez-Saldana died at the scene of the 8:36 p.m. crash.
