A shooting Wednesday night in southeast Bakersfield left a man with a gunshot wound to his leg, but police say he isn't talking.
Bakersfield Police Department got a call at 9:51 p.m. about a shooting in the area of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Potomac Avenue. Officers found several spent shell casings in the 1500 block of Gorrill Street.
Then at about 10:07 p.m, Kern Medical Center staff called officers about a man who was there with a gunshot wound to his leg. But officers said he wasn't talking about any details of the shooting.
Officers believe the two calls were related. Police ask that anyone with information call 327-7111.
