Police looking for disabled man who went missing Wednesday

Bakersfield Police are looking for an at-risk adult who went missing Wednesday morning, according to a Bakersfield Police Department news release.
The man, Douglas Leroy Strong, 61, is described as white, 5 feet 11 inches tall and 150 pounds with gray hair, green eyes and gray beard.
He was last seen at his home on the 9100 block of La Sonrisa Way at 10 a.m. Wednesday. At the time, he was wearing a blue polo shirt and tan pants.
Strong often walks away from his home, but usually returns within a couple hours, according to the news release. He has several disabilities and is unable to care for himself at times.
Anyone with information on Strong's whereabouts is asked to call the Bakersfield Police Department at 327-7111.
