Authorities have canceled an Amber Alert issued Monday afternoon for a boy allegedly abducted in Long Beach.
The boy and his mother were found in Oceanside, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The California Highway Patrol had issued the alert at about 1:20 p.m. Authorities were looking for Nicholas Johnston, a 12-year-old boy, and Sri Johnston, a 49-year-old woman.
A CHP tweet sent out at 3:40 p.m. said: "The victim has been located and the suspect is in custody."
