Driver killed when vehicle hits power pole

An Arvin man was killed Saturday evening in a crash on Buena Vista Drive.
Antonio Lopez-Hernandez was driving on Buena Vista, half a mile east of Comanche Road, when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a power pole, according to a coroner's office news release. He died at the scene.
The news release said he wasn't wearing a seat belt.
