Suspect stole air compressor from Wal-Mart

Bakersfield police are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect wanted for theft.
On June 18, the suspect walked into the Rosedale Wal-Mart and selected an air compressor. The suspect produced a fake receipt to an employee and left the store without paying for the air compressor.
The suspect appears to be white, 45 to 50 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 280 pounds, wearing a gray T-shirt and black baseball cap.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of the suspect is asked to call Detective John Blunt at 326-3964.
