Buttonwillow infant's cause of death pending further studies

An autopsy was performed on a Buttonwillow infant who died last week and cause of death is pending further studies.
Helen Almanza, 4 months old, was found unresponsive in her bed the evening of Oct. 4, according to a coroner's office news release. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
