Man convicted in beating death

A man accused of beating to death another man was convicted of first-degree murder Thursday, according to a District Attorney's office news release.
A jury found Joseph White guilty in the 2010 murder of Rodney Herbert. On June 3, 2010, after Herbert asked White to leave his apartment, White attacked Herbert, according to the news release. White beat Herbert while Herbert's hands and feets were tied, according to the news release. Herbert suffered numerous broken bones and traumatic injuries.
White's sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 11. He faces the possibility of life in prison, according to the news release.
