Shooting victim identified

A shooting victim who died Sunday evening at Kern Medical Center has been identified as 28-year-old Otis Lee Taylor.
The Bakersfield man was shot at 5:24 p.m. in the 1100 block of Pershing Street, according to a coroner's office news release. He died 6:02 p.m. at KMC.
A second shooting victim from the same incident suffered serious injuries, Bakersfield police said. Two people in the area were detained and taken to the Bakersfield Police Department for questioning.
