Seventeen arrested in prostitution sting

On Jan. 17, law enforcement conducted a prostitution suppression operation.
Seventeen arrests were made for solicitation of prostitution. One of the people arrested was also booked on suspicion of drug possession for sale, drug transportation and parole violation.
The operation was conducted on Union Avenue, which is known to have a high rate of prostitution-related activity.
