BPD: Suspect wanted for annoying children

The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the community's assistance in identifying a suspect wanted for annoying a child.
At about 5;30 p.m. Dec. 15, two juveniles were walking by a vehicle parked near Wilson Park at 2400 Wilson Road. The suspect, depicted in the computer generated composite, was seated in the vehicle and asked the juveniles if they would like a ride, at which time the suspect made an inappropriate gesture. The suspect continued to attempt to lure the juveniles to his vehicle; however, they fled.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 25 to 35 years of age, slim build, wearing a gray beanie. The suspect vehicle is described as a green four-door vehicle.
Anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect is urged to call the BPD at 327-7111 or Detective Jeremy Blakemore at 326-3557.
