Propane heater, burned coals found inside vehicle with two dead

At 1:10 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to the Sandy Flat Campground on Highway 178 near Lake Isabella to try to find two campers who were overdue returning home from a camping trip.
Deputies found a vehicle belonging to one of the campers and found two people - later identified as Hyun Sook Han and Yoon Suk Han - unresponsive inside. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies did not observe any obvious signs of trauma or immediately obvious cause of death. Deputies did locate a propane space heater, a propane cooking stove, and burned coals inside the vehicle.
Autopsies have been scheduled to determine cause and manner of death.
